The On-site Cooperation For Testing of Grid-connected Eergy Storage System In Hubei Province

On January 14, 2023, Hubei Electric Power Research Institute of State Grid successfully completed the grid connection test and performance verification for the Jingmen Xingang 50MW/100MWh energy storage power station using our company's equipment. This was also the first time in the world that a complete set of on-site tests for a grid-connected energy storage power station was conducted. The team addressed issues such as the fault response characteristics, frequency modulation characteristics, and power control characteristics of grid-connected energy storage, which were significantly different from those of traditional energy storage. They established an on-site test platform, carried out on-site empirical tests, and conducted a series of key research tasks including grid connection detection and performance verification for grid-connected energy storage. This verified its safety, reliability, and effectiveness, providing important technical support for optimizing the core parameters, setting control and protection values, and defining performance indicators of grid-connected energy storage.
